Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl PRIME Brush-On is a brush-applied acrylic primer in a 22 ml dropper bottle, formulated specifically for priming miniatures and models without an airbrush. It provides a matte finish with strong adhesion, giving subsequent paint layers a surface to grip. Each colour is matched to its standard Pro Acryl counterpart, so the primer doubles as a base-coat tone. Monument Hobbies recommends allowing the primer to cure fully before painting over it.
- Two colours: White and Black — colour-matched to Pro Acryl Bold Titanium White and Coal Black.
- Formulated for brush application; the 120 ml Pro Acryl PRIME bottles are the airbrush-oriented version of the same primer line.
- Each bottle contains a 5 mm laboratory-grade glass agitator — inert and rust-free.
- Non-toxic, conforms to ASTM D-4236. Made in the USA.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
