Milliput is a two-part epoxy putty: mix equal parts of resin and hardener, knead until the colour is uniform, and you have roughly a few hours of working time before it sets rock hard. It is cold-setting and non-shrinking, so it fills gaps and holds sculpted form without pulling back as it cures. For miniature and scale work it covers gap filling on seams, sculpting cloaks, bases and conversions, and general repairs to metal, resin, plastic, wood, ceramic and glass. Once cured it can be drilled, filed, sawn, sanded and painted, so it finishes into the surrounding surface rather than sitting on top of it. The range runs several grades that differ in colour and grain fineness, from the general-purpose Standard to the fine-detail Superfine White.

What's the difference between Green Stuff and Milliput-type putties?
Green Stuff is flexible and springy, holding fine sculpted detail like cloth and cabling. Milliput-type putties are harder-setting and sand smooth once cured, which makes them better for gap-filling and surfaces you want to blend flat. Many sculptors mix the two.
How do I stop epoxy putty sticking to my tools and fingers?
Keep a little water on the tool and your fingertips as a release; the putty won't grab a wet surface. Work in good light and let very tacky putty firm up for a few minutes before shaping fine detail.
How do I get the mixing ratio right?
Most epoxy putties cure at a 1:1 mix of the two parts by volume, kneaded until the colour is fully even with no streaks. Under-mixing leaves soft patches that never fully harden, so mix longer than feels necessary.
How do I fill a seam gap cleanly without losing nearby detail?
Press a small amount of putty into the gap, then wipe the excess back with a wet tool or a cotton bud before it cures, leaving putty only in the recess. Cleaning up wet saves sanding over detail later.
