KRMA027 is Kromlech’s basing gravel rather than another fine sand grade. Its natural particles span 1–4 mm, creating clearly separated stones and larger rock forms on miniature bases or rocky terrain. The varied sizes give the surface a more broken profile than a uniform sand layer. It can be left in its natural colour for desert groundwork or painted to suit the scene.
The pot provides a minimum of 150 g of gravel.
Particle sizes can occasionally extend beyond the specified 1–4 mm range.
Suitable adhesives are PVA and Kromlech Super Glues.
A twist-off lid closes the supplied plastic storage container.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
