Product overview
Green Stuff World Chameleon Colorshift Paint Set 1 brings together six colour-shifting acrylic paints in 17 ml dropper bottles. Each paint contains ultra-fine interference pigments that produce a visible colour shift depending on the viewing angle and light source. The effect is strongest when applied in thin coats over a glossy black primer. Brush and airbrush compatible — airbrush gives the strongest colour shift. Water-based, non-toxic and non-flammable.
- Six colours: Burning Gold, Psychotic Illusions, Celestial Azure, Cobalt Blue, Toxic Purple and Nebula Copper
- Apply in light coats over a glossy black basecoat for maximum colour shift
- Brush and airbrush compatible — airbrush gives the strongest effect
- Water-based acrylic, non-toxic and non-flammable
Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
