Product overview

Autumn 5 mm Small tufts carry sparse beige colouring at the tips while keeping dark green at the base. That colour structure is meant for plants in water-stressed habitats: dune environments and mountain steppes. Combining the tufts with different heights and colours extends the selection available across a miniature base or scenic diorama. Autumn is made in two heights: this 5 mm sheet is the shorter, and a separately sold 12 mm Autumn XL sheet carries the same colour at around 36 larger pieces.

  • Around 144 tufts are provided in the Small format, matching the largest approximate sheet count in our published range.
  • The 5 mm Autumn Wild option carries around 70 tufts in the same colour.
  • The separate pieces release individually and require no preparation before use.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
