Alien Neon is the only 4 mm sheet in the regular Alien range, sitting lower and finer than its nine 6 mm counterparts. Its mixed blue-and-pink colour gives sci-fi, fantasy and magical scenery an intentionally strange, high-contrast plant effect. The palette can suggest an unusual glow, but these are visual-effect tufts rather than luminous or UV-reactive material.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
