Product overview
The Marine Raiders were formed inside the US Marine Corps in 1942, when the Pacific war was going badly for the Allies, to do the kind of work the British Commandos did. The Pacific was a different war, though, and rather than raiding deep behind the lines they more often fought beside regular troops. Edson's 1st and Carlson's 2nd Raider Battalions, named after the officers who trained them in hit-and-run tactics, fought from Makin Atoll to Guadalcanal until the battalions were absorbed back into the regular Marines in 1944. This squad gives you ten of them in metal.
- 10 metal 28mm figures
- Marine Raiders, 1942 to 1944
- Unassembled and unpainted
