Product overview
The 3 lb White format is for full-scale sculpting, commission work and repeated master-making where smaller packs create needless interruptions. Its light body suits pieces that need to read pale and makes subtle surface changes visible during detailed work. The fine-grain consistency is intended for accuracy rather than general-purpose bulk filling. Plan each mix as a usable batch within the stated 1–3-hour working range. The material sets by itself with no baking and completes its cure after 24 hours.
Anyone new to Apoxie Clay should test the White material in a ¼ lb or 1 lb pack before committing to this volume.
Once combined, leave the batch for five minutes; Aves gives this pause as a handling improvement.
Use Aves Finishing Solution to refine close details before set-up, switching to water when smoothing larger areas.
Wear gloves during preparation, and keep the tools used to take Parts A and B separate.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between Green Stuff and Milliput-type putties?+
Green Stuff is flexible and springy, holding fine sculpted detail like cloth and cabling. Milliput-type putties are harder-setting and sand smooth once cured, which makes them better for gap-filling and surfaces you want to blend flat. Many sculptors mix the two.
How do I stop epoxy putty sticking to my tools and fingers?+
Keep a little water on the tool and your fingertips as a release; the putty won't grab a wet surface. Work in good light and let very tacky putty firm up for a few minutes before shaping fine detail.
How do I get the mixing ratio right?+
Most epoxy putties cure at a 1:1 mix of the two parts by volume, kneaded until the colour is fully even with no streaks. Under-mixing leaves soft patches that never fully harden, so mix longer than feels necessary.
How do I fill a seam gap cleanly without losing nearby detail?+
Press a small amount of putty into the gap, then wipe the excess back with a wet tool or a cotton bud before it cures, leaving putty only in the recess. Cleaning up wet saves sanding over detail later.
