AK8267 brings yellow 2 mm tufts into scenes where ordinary green groundwork would not fit the setting. A modeller might scatter them through an alien meadow, use a few around a brightly painted creature, or repeat the colour across a fantasy base to connect separate scenic elements. The yellow can form a concentrated patch around a focal point or reappear in small groups across the finished groundwork.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
