Cleaning an airbrush after Xtreme Metal work and adjusting the paint for spraying are the two core jobs of AK470 Xtreme Thinner & Cleaner. The 100 ml product is formulated for this metallic lacquer range and removes pigment and paint debris from the airbrush rather than leaving residue behind. It also serves as the range’s dedicated paint thinner.

Use it to clean tools as well as the airbrush.
The fluid can also be used to dilute putty.
It may thin paints from another brand when their base components match.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
