Eight matt acrylics for US Air Force and Air National Guard (ANG) aircraft used from the 1960s until the 1980s. One box covers two whole scheme families — the popular SEA (South East Asia) scheme and all variations of the Euro I scheme — plus FS 16473, the colour applied to Air Defence Command interceptors such as the F-101 Voodoo, F-102 Delta Dagger, F-106 Delta Dart and, later, the F-4 Phantom II.
- Set contains (8 × 17 ml): AK11867 ADC Grey FS 16473, AK11346 Forest Green FS 34079, AK11342 Dark Green FS 34102, AK11121 Tan Earth FS 30219, AK11890 Camouflage Grey FS 36622, AK11873 Dull Dark Green FS 34092, AK11024 Ash Grey FS 36081, AK11881 Medium Gunship Grey FS 36118
- The earlier half of the Air Force timeline: it hands over to AK11746 US Air Force & ANG Modern Aircraft Colors, with which it shares AK11881 Medium Gunship Grey FS 36118 — a bottle also found in AK11744, the hub colour of this post-war US run

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
