Product overview

AK35032 is a 1:35 injection-moulded plastic kit of the Trabant 601 S, the East German car produced from 1964 to 1991. The 2-in-1 tooling supports either a civilian production vehicle or police variant, allowing the same compact body to be presented in two distinct forms. The original car paired Duroplast exterior panels with a two-stroke, air-cooled engine and became one of the most recognisable vehicles of the DDR.

  • Includes over 80 plastic parts, one photo-etched fret and vinyl tyres.
  • The interior and chassis are fully represented, with optional fog and reversing lights.
  • Two alternative emergency-light designs are supplied for the police configuration.
  • Cartograf decals provide 6 schemes, including the Trabant featured in Go Trabi Go.
