Product overview

AK9569 is a two-part stainless steel cleaning pot for brushes and other work tools. The lower section holds water or an appropriate cleaning liquid, depending on the paint being removed. Its detachable upper section combines the working features used during cleaning, keeping agitation, scraping and brush support within the container before deposited paint and pigment are collected below.

The top incorporates a brush holder, strainer and integrated zigzag scraper.
Both sections detach to make the container easier to clean.
Brushes can be swirled and tapped gently against the strainer so residue drops into the base.
The scraper is intended for excess or dried paint.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
