AK Interactive Real Colors 1945 Panzer Colors contains six lacquer paints for German Army vehicles used during the final months of the Second World War. The selection supports the factory-applied three-colour scheme introduced in August 1944, including the standard and darker Ausgabe 44 versions of Dunkelgelb. Two red-brown shades and Olivgrün cover disruptive camouflage, while White RAL 9002 is included for winter finishes applied during 1944-1945.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
