Product overview

AK9322 is a targeted matting agent for correcting isolated areas of unwanted shine rather than coating the whole model. It can disguise glossy residue left by excess glue and unwanted sheen caused by the drying behaviour of some paints. The treatment can also reduce decal silvering, shift the shade of a selected panel or strengthen the visual distinction between materials on a figure.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
