Product overview
Moss Green is an acrylic weathering gouache with a rough, ultra-matt finish that suits living green growth; the 20 ml tube dispenses an opaque, water-based colour. It’s made first for moss — clumped, textured moss on stone, timber and neglected metal — and for vegetation such as the green film up a tree trunk, but it also earns a place in scenic groundwork and on long-abandoned vehicles. Being water-based, it lifts and re-blends under tap water after drying, so the growth can be shaped in stages.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
