Product overview
Earth (Dry) is an earth-toned acrylic weathering gouache, 20 ml to the tube, for dry-earth and light-soil effects — the dusty tone that builds on vehicle undersides, across scenery, and in the traps and corners where dirt settles. The colour is opaque and water-based, drying matt and reactivating with tap water, so the effect stays adjustable. It also takes to being mixed with real soil or plaster when you want more grit and texture.
- Thin, blend and reactivate it with tap water — no solvent needed at any stage.
- Dries to an opaque matt, reading as dry earth, not a wet smear.
- Applies over acrylic, enamel and oil paint, and onto plastic, cardboard and paper.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
