This Medium for Artist Dense Acrylic Color is a 60 ml water-based acrylic polymer binder for the AK Dense Acrylic range. It thins the paints without changing their colour, adhesion, elasticity or drying time, so a colour behaves the same whether used neat or well diluted. It dries transparent and colourless, which suits glazes and transparency effects, and the label prints a matt finish.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
