Abteilung 502 Leather & Wood Colors Set contains six warm artist oils selected for painting different types of leather and wood. The colours can be mixed to produce a broad range of base tones, shadows and highlights. AK Interactive also recommends the selection for adding chromatic variation, surface wear and material effects to leather and wood found on figures, vehicles and scenic elements. Each colour is supplied in a separate 20 ml oil paint tube.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
