Vallejo Pigment FX Stone & Cement Set groups four 35 ml pots of dry, unbound pigment for stone and cement effects on models and dioramas. The range originates from iron oxides and natural earths, processed for different application methods. The pigments can be applied dry with a brush, fixed in place with a few drops of Airbrush Thinner, or mixed with the thinner at different densities. Vallejo also describes combining them with Pigment Binder to build volume, accumulations and transitions between shades.
Set contains: 73.104 Light Sienna; 73.105 Natural Sienna; 73.114 Dark Slate Grey; 73.121 Desert Dust

A step-by-step guide by Chema Cabrero is included for creating stone and cement effects

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
