Vallejo WWII Soviet Armour & Infantry Paint Set contains six 17 ml Model Color acrylics selected for Soviet uniforms and vehicles, with a labelled painting diagram on the back of the box. It is aimed at painters working on WWII Soviet infantry and armour who want the maker's stated base, highlight and equipment roles in one palette. The diagram separates summer and winter infantry schemes and gives a two-colour vehicle treatment, while Vallejo positions the set for use alongside the separate Utility Paint Set.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
