Product overview
Vallejo WWII German Waffen SS Paint Set contains six 17 ml Model Color acrylics selected for Oak Leaf and Pea Dot camouflage, with a labelled painting diagram on the back of the box. The maker separates the Oak Leaf base, spring colours and autumn colours, then identifies the base and three camouflage colours for Pea Dot. It is intended for painters following those printed pattern roles, with Vallejo presenting the set for use alongside the separate Utility Paint Set.
Set contains: 70.824 German Camo Orange Ochre; 70.825 German Camo Pale Brown; 70.979 German Camo Dark Green; 70.833 German Camo Bright Green; 70.822 German Camo Black Brown; 70.929 Light Brown
Oak Leaf uses German Camo Pale Brown as its base; German Camo Dark Green and German Camo Bright Green are assigned to spring camouflage
German Camo Black Brown and Light Brown are assigned to autumn Oak Leaf camouflage
Pea Dot uses German Camo Orange Ochre as the base, with German Camo Pale Brown, German Camo Dark Green and German Camo Bright Green as camouflage colours
Produced in association with Battlefront Miniatures Ltd.

Notes · Q & A
Common questions
+
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
