Vallejo WWII German Armour Paint Set contains six 17 ml Model Color acrylics selected for German armoured vehicles, with a labelled painting diagram on the back of the box. The diagram separates 1939-43 and 1943-45 treatments, assigning colours for bases, highlights, camouflage and red oxide primer. It is intended for painters working across early- and later-war vehicle schemes, and Vallejo presents it for use alongside the separate Utility Paint Set.
Set contains: 70.978 Dark Yellow; 70.976 Buff; 70.872 Chocolate Brown; 70.890 Refractive Green; 70.940 Saddle Brown; 70.995 German Grey
For 1943-45 vehicles, Dark Yellow is assigned as the base and Buff as the highlight
Chocolate Brown and Refractive Green are assigned to 1943-45 vehicle camouflage
German Grey is assigned to 1939-43 vehicle bases, while Saddle Brown is labelled for red oxide primer

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
