Product overview

This larger 75 g tub holds the same B&J Brush Cleaner and Preserver that General Pencil has sold since 1979. Water is all it needs: wet the bristles, work them over the solid cleaner to raise a lather, then rinse, repeating for stubborn or dried paint. The lid is printed for oil, watercolour and acrylic paint plus stains, General Pencil adds inks, dyes, grease and grime, and the formula conditions the hair while it cleans. The wide tub sits on an octagonal base, so it stays put on the hobby desk while you work a brush into it.

  • Net weight 75 g
  • Four pictogram steps on the base: wet, lather, rinse, shape
  • Contains 15–30% soap and 5–15% ethylene glycol, with under 5% anionic surfactant
  • General Pencil Co., USA; label item TM101, lid 101-BJ
