Tamiya 74522 combines two rotating supports for airbrushing model components: a 160 mm turntable for smaller parts and a separate body stand for larger shells. The body stand uses adjustable wire cradle arms to hold shapes such as 1/24 scale car bodies, while holes in the turntable accept sprues, pencils or chopsticks used as temporary holders. Four spring clips are included for parts requiring individual support during painting and drying.
The set contains 2 painting stands.
The circular turntable measures 160 mm in diameter.
The body stand has adjustable wire cradle arms.
Four spring clips are included.
The stands are compatible with the separately sold Tamiya Painting Booth.

Notes · Q & A
Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?+
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?+
Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
How do I keep tools in good condition?+
Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
