Pure Kolinsky spotters for extreme detail. Tiny, precise, perfect for the finest miniature work.
The Rosemary & Co Series 323 is a pure Kolinsky sable spotter brush — a very short, compact brush designed for extreme detail work. Spotters have much shorter bristles than standard rounds, giving a stiff, controlled feel that excels at placing paint exactly where you want it with minimal movement.
For miniature painters, spotters are essential for the finest details: eyes, gems, tiny highlights, and any work where the brush needs to be nearly a precision instrument. The Series 323 uses genuine Kolinsky sable for the finest possible point at this compact scale, combined with Rosemary & Co's outstanding value pricing.

How we measure a brushA visual guide to the measurements shown in the size chart above.
These are the same measurements shown in the size chart above. Brush sizes are not standardised across brands, so use these dimensions when comparing brushes within a series or between manufacturers.
Tuft Length
The visible length of the brush hairs, measured from the ferrule to the tip.
Belly Diameter
The widest point of the brush head. On round brushes, this is the widest part of the belly.
Total Length
The full measurement from the tip of the brush to the end of the handle.
How to care for your brush
Gentle care for the short, fine tip. Rinse carefully, clean with brush soap, and reshape the tiny point. Store protected. The short bristles are slightly more resilient than long-haired brushes but the point still needs careful handling.
