A three-size correction set for watercolour painters, designed to lift paint, soften edges, and fix mistakes on paper.
The Eradicator set is not really a painting set in the usual sense — it is a correction toolkit for watercolour. These brushes are designed to lift colour from paper, soften hard edges, and help correct passages that have gone too dark, too sharp, or too heavy. That makes them especially useful to watercolour painters who want a reliable way to modify a passage after the paint has dried or partially dried. The set’s role is practical and problem-solving, not expressive painting.
With sizes large, medium, and small, the set gives the painter a simple progression for different correction jobs. Larger sizes help with broader lifting and softening, while the smaller brush is useful for tighter highlights and more controlled adjustments. That makes the set valuable for botanical work, illustration, and detailed watercolour painting, where precision corrections can matter a great deal. Compared with trying to improvise using ordinary brushes, a dedicated correction set gives more control and protects your better painting brushes from being used for scrubbing tasks.
What makes this brush special
This set should feel stiff, controlled, and purpose-built for lifting rather than laying colour down. The brushes need enough firmness to disturb pigment on paper without being so harsh that they damage the surface. The size progression makes the set practical across different correction tasks. Overall, it is a specialist toolset with a very clear function.

How to care for your brush
Because these are correction tools, they are used differently from normal painting brushes. Rinse them after use and clean out any lifted pigment so residue does not stiffen the fibres. Use cool or lukewarm water and avoid soaking, especially if the brushes are used on textured paper. If they are synthetic or stiff-bristled, they will tolerate more vigorous cleaning than natural brushes, but they still should not be abused. Let them dry fully and store them separately from your painting brushes so they stay dedicated to lifting and correction. Keeping them separate also helps prevent accidental cross-contamination with colour-loaded brushes.

Favorite tool for lifting
I love these brushes so much for lifting that I started using them for gentle blending as well. I bought this larger set for blending imperfect backgrounds.
