Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl Metallic is a range of eight metallic acrylic colours plus a Metallic Medium, formulated for miniatures, models and 3D sculpts. The paints use the same high-density pigment base as the standard Pro Acryl line, with metallic particles that produce a reflective finish suitable for armour, weapons and decorative trim. They thin evenly and can be mixed with one another or with Pro Acryl Transparent colours to create custom metallic shades.

Metallic Medium (MPA-033) is a blend of pigment and metal flake, usable as a bright white-metal paint or as a base for mixing custom metallics with transparent colours.
Each bottle contains a 5 mm laboratory-grade glass agitator — inert and rust-free.
Twist cap with a no-clog seal; dropper and flip-cap lids available separately.
Suitable for brush or airbrush. Non-toxic, conforms to ASTM D-4236. Made in the USA.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
