Jentastic's Drunken Brush Goop is a brush cleaner, conditioner and reshaper in one 2 oz pot. It strips dried acrylic paint from bristles, conditions the fibres and re-points the tip for storage. It works on both natural-hair sable brushes and synthetics, and is made from natural, sustainable ingredients. To use, wet the brush, load it with soap, work to a lather and rinse. For conditioning between sessions, leave a thin coat of soap on the brush shaped to a point.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
