Product overview

Sons of Thor Wolf Pattern Shields are five smaller round shields, all one design, for arming a squad with a matching set. Each has a riveted boss in the middle, a sun motif beside it, and runes carved into raised bands at the top and bottom, with four notches cut into the rim. In the example photo an armoured warrior carries one on his arm, which gives a good idea of its size against a figure. Behind it there is a short grip to glue against a hand or forearm; no arm comes with the shield.

  • Five shields in one design
  • Riveted boss, sun motif, runed rim
  • Resin, 28mm scale
  • Comes unpainted; arms sold separately

Notes · Q & A

What are resin bits and how do I prepare them?

Cast resin upgrade parts for customising miniatures. Wash in warm soapy water to remove mould-release residue, then attach with super glue.

Will these bits fit my miniatures?

They're designed for 28mm heroic-scale wargaming figures — check each listing's dimensions against your model.

How do I fill small gaps after converting?

A little modelling putty (Green Stuff or Milliput) pressed into the join, smoothed with a damp tool, disappears entirely under primer.
