Product overview
Screwed on over the fluid nozzle, this N3 nozzle cap is the outermost part of the Iwata Neo CN's spray head. The CN runs Iwata's N3 head, a matched group of four parts designed to work as one, so when the cap is worn or knocked out of shape it wants replacing with this N3 cap rather than one taken from a different head. A Neo BCN can wear the same cap too, though only once its own N5 head has been swapped out: fit it together with the N3 needle and the N3 nozzle with o-ring, and the BCN then sprays through the CN's head.

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
