Your miniature's base sits on top of the Hero Base. Check your model's current base size (printed on underside), then order the matching Hero Base in your preferred height. Standard examples: Space Marines = 32mm, Primaris = 40mm, Bikes = 75x42mm oval.

⚠️ About FDM Printing:
You will see layer lines – this is FDM technology, not a defect. One coat of primer hides 80-90% of texture. Most painters texture their bases anyway, and FDM surface helps paint adhesion. Seam line? Rotate to back, sand in 30 seconds, or prime over it.

Every Hero Base has a 3mm gap underneath. By default, it's covered with easy-remove supports for a flat bottom.
Flat bottom (default): Use as-is. Sits flat on tables, cabinets, display boards.
Magnet-ready: Remove supports with hobby knife, insert 3mm disc magnet, superglue. Now sticks to metal trays for transport safety. Your £200+ centerpiece won't slide around in the car.
Recommended: 3mm diameter × 1-2mm thick neodymium disc magnets.

❓ Quick FAQ
Can I game with these?
Yes. Step, Rise, Ascend are designed for tabletop. Wider footprint = more stable. Higher tiers better for display but technically game-legal for casual play.
Will layer lines show after priming?
Barely. One primer coat hides 80-90%. For glass-smooth: prime → light sand → prime again (2 minutes).
Do I glue my miniature to it?
No. Your miniature stays on its standard base. That base sits on top of the Hero Base. Lift off to game, put back to display. Zero commitment.
What about the seam line?
Rotate to back (hidden), sand in 30 seconds, or prime over it (becomes nearly invisible).
Can I customize them?
That's the point. Prime, texture, paint to match your army theme. Blank canvas for your creativity.

Check the selected option's underside opening and available underside depth in Technical Specifications before choosing magnets. Magnet fit depends on the actual cavity dimensions and the magnet you plan to use, so it should not be assumed to be the same across every base.

Start with the base footprint required for your model or game, then confirm the selected option against the Technical Specifications. If you are replacing an existing base, measure it carefully and compare its physical footprint before ordering.
How should I use the technical drawing?
Choose your option first, then use the technical drawing and Technical Specifications to check the physical dimensions of the product. When matching an existing part or accessory, use the drawing rather than relying on the product name alone.
Can I rely on the nominal size alone?
No. Products with similar nominal sizes can have different physical dimensions or fit differently across brands and systems. Check the technical drawing, specifications and any product-specific compatibility note before ordering.
