Product overview

At 1 mm, Tiny Pale Teal Tufts are low, very small pieces for depicting lichen patches across rock and comparable surfaces. The pale teal belongs to places where almost no atmospheric pollution exists, and cold environments are the second setting it was made for. Approximately 500 coloured tufts are arranged on the printed sheet packed in the blister.

  • They can also portray cave or forest life with a magical bioluminescent character.
  • Different colours and sizes may be combined to vary the detail.
  • Separating a single tuft leaves it ready to use as it is.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
