Swamp 4 mm Wild tufts combine green tips with darker, brownish bases to create a clearly two-tone colour. They suit low sedge and rush growth across marsh terrain, bog ground and swamp scenery, together with dark, grass-like herb undergrowth beneath shaded canopies. Bringing other colours and tuft sizes into the same project can build a wider colour gradient. Swamp is made in only two heights, and this is the shorter of them: the Wild sheet at 4 mm carries around 70 tufts, against around 36 much larger ones on the 8 mm Wild XL sheet.
At 5 mm and 6 mm the Wild sheets hold the same approximate number, so the choice between those heights is growth length rather than quantity.
Small is the other format at this colour and height, with around 144 tufts.
Each piece comes off the sheet on its own and is ready to use as supplied.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
