Product overview

Strong Green XL brings saturated colour and full height to warm, humid scenery. Its uses run from rainforest ground layers and rich wet high prairies to temperate high grasslands. As the tallest grass-tuft format Gamers Grass makes, it uses fewer, larger pieces instead of the higher counts found on shorter sheets. Mix it with other green tufts: that is the only combination Gamers Grass recommends for this colour.

You get around 36 differently shaped XL tufts on one sheet.
Pieces come off the sheet one at a time and go straight onto the base.
Lifting is easier with tweezers, and a spot of PVA turns a placed tuft into a permanent one.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
