Strong Green Shrubs are pre-coloured, shrub-shaped tufts for temperate forest under heavy rain, the undergrowth that shelters the mythical small creatures gathered to listen to the magic flute. One printed sheet is packed in the blister, and the tufts come off it singly for basing, terrain work or a diorama. This is the shrub range, not the grass tufts of the same colour name.

Around 75 pieces per sheet, in assorted shapes and sizes.
The tufts are 6 mm high.
Tweezers improve control while a tuft is peeled from the sheet.
A small amount of PVA glue gives a tougher, permanent bond.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
