Product overview

Light Green 6 mm Wild brings together several light-green shades to represent young plants as they sprout and grasses with light colouring. Its habitat range covers numerous forms of prairie, pasture and meadow vegetation across open landscape settings. Combining it with other colours, and with tufts in other sizes, widens the colour range you can build on a base or across a scene. We stock this light green at 4 mm and as a 12 mm Wild XL sheet as well, so at 6 mm you get more height than the 4 mm sheets without moving up to the XL format.

The Wild sheet supplies approximately 70 tufts, the same figure our shorter Wild sheets at 4 mm and 5 mm carry.
The identical Light Green at 6 mm is also sold as a Small sheet of around 144 tufts.
Tufts detach one by one and can go on exactly as they arrive.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
