Monstera covers two ends of one shelf: dense rainforest undergrowth outdoors, and a decorative pot plant indoors. Colour and cutting are both done before the sheet reaches you — free the leaves you need and glue them onto a base, a scenic board or jungle undergrowth. All 47 pieces are separate leaves, so the plant goes together leaf by leaf, as thickly as a scene calls for.
The plant is native to Mexico and is now widespread through tropical habitats.
It is grown worldwide as a houseplant, which is why it reads as easily in a modern interior as in undergrowth.
Colour and leaf size change from piece to piece.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
