Green 4 mm Small tufts provide a saturated colour intended for a wide span of vegetation. Their stated scope reaches across grassland types and into woodland field layers, making this the general-purpose green in the range. The unqualified Green name belongs to this product alone; related shades such as Strong Green, Dry Green and Light Green are separate colours. You can also combine this sheet with further colours and sizes when a broader spread of green tones is wanted across army bases or dioramas.

Around 144 tufts are supplied in the Small format, matching the highest approximate count we publish for any sheet.
The same approximate count is on our 5 mm and 6 mm Small sheets, so the difference here is the shorter 4 mm growth.
Green at the same 4 mm height is also available as a Wild sheet with around 70 tufts.
Each piece detaches individually and can be used as supplied, with no preparation required.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
