Burned 6 mm Small tufts combine limited beige colouring at their tips with bases in a much darker tone. Burned plant growth is the use they are built around, and the same dark colouring doubles for the clusters of sedges and rushes that sit on swamp and marsh ground. Other colours and tuft sizes can be brought in to broaden the palette of the finished groundwork. Of the two 6 mm Burned sheets this is the one with more pieces on it, which matters once you are covering a whole board rather than a single base.
You receive around 144 tufts as Small, tied for the largest approximate sheet quantity in our published range.
The Wild alternative at 6 mm carries around 70 tufts in this Burned colour.
Our Burned range consists of this 6 mm height and a separate 2 mm sheet, making this the taller option.
The pieces come off the backing separately and go straight onto a base.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
