Bluebeard is a blue-flowering Caryopteris shrub. The plant comes from mountainous areas of China but is now grown in gardens around the world, where its blooms attract both bees and butterflies. Flower tufts arrive already coloured, a sheetful of them in the blister, and they go onto model bases, terrain or dioramas with no further work.
Approximately 75 tufts are included, with differences in both shape and size.
Flower height is 6 mm.
Tweezers provide greater control when lifting a chosen tuft.
A little PVA glue can make the final fix tougher and permanent.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
