Gaahleri GTS-06 Serenair Mini Compressor Kit with CS-36 Airbrush — UK Plug
Gaahleri Ambition Series · UK Version
Compact tabletop airbrush compressor kit with everything you need to start spraying: GTS-06 Serenair compressor, CS-36 dual-action gravity-feed airbrush (0.38mm), 6ft hose, and 2 airbrush holders. 7 button-controlled pressure levels, dual output ports, UK plug included.
📦 Everything You Need — Ready to Spray
No hunting for extras before your first session. The GTS-06 kit includes the compressor, a capable dual-action airbrush, hose, holders, and a UK power adapter. Unbox, plug in, start painting.
The CS-36 airbrush is a metal-bodied, dual-action gravity-feed design with a 0.38mm nozzle — a versatile middle ground between fine detail and coverage. It handles most hobby acrylics, primers, and varnishes with proper thinning.
⚡ Small but Powerful
Just 180 × 110 × 67mm and 0.73kg — the GTS-06 lives on your hobby desk, fits in a drawer, and is easy to set up and pack away. It sits in the sweet spot between ultra-cheap handheld units and full-size tank compressors that take over your entire desk.
7 button-controlled pressure levels from 15–27 PSI in 2 PSI steps. No regulator dial to fiddle with — just press to select. Levels 1–3 auto-stop at 18 PSI, levels 4–7 at 27 PSI. Simpler for beginners, faster for everyone.
🔌 Dual Airbrush Ports
Two independent output ports let you hook up two airbrushes and switch between them without disconnecting — one for primer/varnish, one for colour work. In practice, most hobbyists use one at a time, but having both ready to go is a real workflow convenience.

🎯 Best Used For
Priming miniatures — smooth, even primer application on infantry, characters, and vehicles.
Basecoating — efficient coverage on squads and batch painting at 28–32mm scale.
Zenithal highlights & pre-shading — the pressure range and 0.38mm nozzle handle this well.
Varnishing — gloss, satin, or matt coats on finished models.
Scale models & Gunpla — 1/72 to 1/24 scale work where a compact setup is ideal.
Small spaces — apartments, shared rooms, desks where a full-size compressor isn't practical.
🔄 How Does It Compare?
| GTS-06 (This) | Sparmax ARISM | AS-186 Tank | |
| Price | ~£72–80 (full kit) | ~£155+ (unit only) | ~£60–90 (unit only) |
| Airbrush? | Yes (CS-36) | Kit ~£195 | Usually no |
| Size | Ultra compact (0.73kg) | Compact (2.5kg) | Large (3–5kg+) |
| Best for | Small spaces, beginners | Premium compact | Long sessions, heavy use |
💡 The GTS-06 wins on value, size, and simplicity. Tank compressors win on air stability. Sparmax wins on build quality — at more than double the price.
💡 Pro Tips
Thin your paints — the 0.38mm CS-36 handles most hobby acrylics well, but heavier paints (Citadel base, some metallics) need thinning for smooth flow. Aim for milk-like consistency.
Start at level 3–4 (around 20 PSI) — the sweet spot for most miniature painting. Go lower for detail, higher for primers and varnishes.
Clean after every session — routine cleaning keeps the CS-36 spraying smoothly and extends needle and nozzle life.
Let the compressor rest during long sessions — as a tankless mini, it's designed for hobby-length sessions, not continuous all-day use. Give it a break if you're painting for hours.
⚖️ Worth Knowing
This is a mini tankless compressor — it doesn't have an air tank, so it can't match the airflow stability of larger tank-style units. For most miniature and model painting, this doesn't matter. For long continuous spraying, it does.
Not built for all-day, heavy-duty use — this is a hobby compressor for session-length work. If you paint 6+ hours daily, a tank compressor is a better fit.
The included airbrush has limits — the CS-36 is a capable starter brush, but it can struggle with heavier paints like undiluted metallics. If you outgrow it, consider upgrading to a Gaahleri Seeker or Mobius while keeping the compressor.
15–27 PSI working range — fine for most hobby work, but not enough for larger nozzles, trigger-action brushes, or fan-cap applications.
Who should choose a competitor? If you need tank-stabilised airflow → AS-186/Fengda. Premium compact build → Sparmax ARISM. Ultra-light, very low pressure → Iwata NEO AIR. The GTS-06 beats all of them on bundle value and desk footprint.
