Product overview

The UV-GT is DSPIAE's mini UV touch light: a small silver torch with a push button on the side and a domed lens at the tip. We stock it alongside the UV-G light-curing glue. DSPIAE does not publish a wavelength, power rating, battery type or run time for this light, and nothing is printed on the parts of it we can see, so we do not list any. If you want a light with stated figures, the UV-T touch light is rated at 365 nm and 3 W, with a rechargeable 1200 mAh battery.

Pocket-size UV light with a side push button
Silver body, domed lens at the top
Wavelength, power and battery: not published by DSPIAE

Notes · Q & A

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
