The DSPIAE DC-25 is a flocked polyester cleaning cloth for pulling compacted sanding dust from files, sanding sticks, blocks and pads. Friction from rubbing builds a static charge that attracts fine particles into the pile, helping a clogged abrasive cut again. Rather than sanding or polishing the model itself, the cloth is used by pressing the tool against its surface and dragging it back and forth.
High-density flocking provides the surface that collects loosened dust.
Do not wash it in water; this can make the fluff shed and reduce cleaning performance.
The cloth is flammable, so keep it away from open flames and sparks.
Remove collected dust with a hand-held vacuum rather than wet cleaning.
Keep cements and paints off the pile because contamination hardens the fluff.

Notes · Q & A
Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?+
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?+
Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
How do I keep tools in good condition?+
Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
