Product overview

This Bolt Action starter army fields the US Marine Corps of the Pacific war, the island fighting of Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Seven USMC sprues and two US weapon sprues make 42 plastic Marines, with command figures, bazookas, BARs, shotguns, SMGs and scoped sniper rifles among them: enough for a full rifle platoon plus heavy weapons and artillery. Metal castings add a corpsman, a flamethrower team, a medium mortar team, two .30 cal machine gun teams and a 37mm light anti-tank gun, and a plastic M3A1 half-track carries them forward. A USMC leaflet comes in the box.

  • 42 plastic Marines from nine sprues
  • Plastic M3A1 half-track
  • Metal corpsman, flamethrower and mortar teams
  • Two metal .30 cal teams and a 37mm AT gun
  • Unassembled, unpainted 28mm figures and vehicle
