Product overview

The M8 Scott was built on the hull of the widely used M5 Stuart light tank, with the Stuart's turret replaced by a roomier open-topped one housing a short M2 75mm howitzer. A pintle-mounted .50 cal HMG added defensive firepower. It gave US assault troops the mobile artillery support they needed and served with the US Army and the Marine Corps in the Pacific, in Italy and across North West Europe, where Free French units also used it. In Bolt Action the M8 is a light tank with a light howitzer, its HMG can be turned on enemy aircraft, and it can join an Armoured Platoon. The kit is one plastic vehicle.
