Aves Apoxie Sculpt Colour Tray — Neutral (4-Colour Mixing Kit)
About This Product
The Apoxie Sculpt Colour Tray is a pre-packed mixing kit containing four Apoxie Sculpt colours selected to work together as a palette. Instead of buying four separate tubs, you get a single tray with measured portions of each colour — ready to mix, blend, and sculpt.
This is the Neutral palette, curated for greys, browns, stone, and earth tones. Every colour in the tray is genuine Apoxie Sculpt — same formula, same 1:1 mix ratio, same 24-hour cure. Mix any Part A colours together to create custom shades, then add equal Part B to activate.
What's in the Neutral Tray?
Black
For darkening, shadow tones, and dark terrain.
Silver Grey
The neutral mid-tone — stone, concrete, and metal effects.
White
For lightening, highlights, and clean base tones.
Brown
Earth, wood, bark, and warm organic tones.
Who Is This For?
◆ Terrain builders and diorama makers — who want consistent stone, rock, earth, and concrete tones built right into the sculpting material.
◆ Colour matchers — who want to mix precise custom shades without eyeballing pigment amounts or staining their workspace.
◆ Small-batch workers — who don't need a full 454 g (1 lb) tub of each colour but want the flexibility of multiple tones.
◆ Anyone trying Apoxie Sculpt for the first time — four colours in one kit is a great way to explore the material's colour-mixing potential.
What Can You Mix?
RECIPE Light grey → dark grey — mix White and Black in different ratios via Silver Grey.
RECIPE Warm stone — Silver Grey + a touch of Brown.
RECIPE Dark earth — Brown + Black.
RECIPE Concrete and weathered surfaces — Silver Grey + White + a hint of Brown.
RECIPE Charcoal — Black + Silver Grey.
RECIPE Sandy beige — White + Brown in small proportions.

How to Use — Quick Guide
Choose your colours — decide which Part A colours from the tray you want to combine. You can use a single colour or blend two or more.
Blend Part A colours — knead your chosen Part A colours together until the shade is uniform and streak-free.
Add equal Part B — take the same volume of Part B and mix it into your blended Part A. Knead thoroughly.
Sculpt and smooth — shape, texture, and refine your piece. Use water to smooth surfaces before cure.
Cure — leave for 24 hours at room temperature. Once cured, sand, drill, carve, or paint as needed.
Tips from the Hobby Community
▸ Mix Part A colours thoroughly — streaks and lines will show through the cured material if the colours aren't fully blended before adding Part B.
▸ Start with small amounts — it's easier to add more of a colour than to correct an over-mixed batch. Go gradually.
▸ Use cold water to reduce sticking and help hold fine detail while sculpting.
▸ Wear nitrile gloves — especially with Black and Brown. Coloured epoxy can leave pigment on skin and surfaces.
▸ Clean tools with soap and water before the compound sets. Aves Finishing Solution handles stubborn residue.
▸ Store sealed and cool — keep the tray sealed between sessions for maximum shelf life.
Colour Tray vs. Separate Tubs
Choose the Colour Tray if:
You want a curated palette for mixing, you work in small batches, you want to try multiple colours without buying four full-size tubs, or you're exploring Apoxie Sculpt for the first time.
Choose separate tubs if:
You already know which colour you use most and need bulk quantity. Our 454 g (1 lb) and 1.81 kg (4 lb) tubs offer better value per gram for single-colour projects.
Good to Know
⚠ This is a neutral palette. If you need chromatic colours (reds, blues, greens, yellows), the Primary tray is a better fit.
⚠ Small portions per colour. Each colour is approximately 46 g (1/10 lb). If you need large amounts of one specific colour, a dedicated 454 g (1 lb) tub is more practical.
⚠ It cures rigid. If you need a flexible end result, Green Stuff or a flexible putty is a better choice.
⚠ Wear gloves. Nitrile gloves are recommended, especially when handling Black and Brown.
