For a lighter burnt-metal colour, AK485 Pale Burnt Metal delivers 30 ml of metallic lacquer. Its pale variant retains a heat-affected metallic character while standing apart from the deeper Burnt Metal shade. The applied lacquer stands up to weathering, making the colour compatible with later work intended to build age or service wear on the finished model.
High sheen is combined with ultra-high coverage.
The colour can be applied without a primer underneath.
The plastic underneath comes to no harm.
Masking is supported during subsequent paint stages.
A varnish coat leaves the gloss unchanged; made in Spain.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
