Product overview

Varnish can be applied over AK480 Xtreme Metal Dark Aluminium without altering the lacquer’s glossiness. Thirty millilitres of metallic lacquer create a high-sheen dark aluminium finish on the model. The paint has ultra-high covering power, and the completed metallic coat remains resistant to subsequent weathering work. It is made in Spain.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
