Six 3rd Generation acrylic colours for the cockpits and other inner surfaces of all US aircraft of the World War II period — Army Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps machines alike. That cross-service scope is the point of the box: it serves a USAAF project exactly as well as a naval one, and it shares no colour with the US Navy camouflage sets it complements.

  • AK11064 Salmon Pink Primer (Beige Red) is the same paint as our 3rd Gen Beige Red single bottle — AK's own parenthesis makes the link
  • Matt finish; acrylic colours for brush, and for airbrush dilute with water or AK11500 thinner

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
